TASTE Workshop in Munich
A feast for the senses!
Last week, we welcomed visitors from Poland and Spain to agado. PSONI and BRIAN were our guests for an inclusive TASTE workshop in Munich.
On day 1, we began with a warm welcome and an introduction to agado. Then we got straight down to business with some creative workshops:
- Spicing up tap water: How does water taste when we add different herbs and fruits?
- Discovering the senses: Feeling, smelling and tasting fruit, and guessing what it is in a guessing game.
- Recognising animal sounds: Who can hear the variety of species and match them to the correct pictures?
- Inclusive podcast: Sister Bernadette presented her exciting project.
On day 2, things got cosy in the intergenerational garden:
- Waffles and bread: Homemade with regional ingredients from community-supported agriculture.
- Making scented sachets: Hand-printed and filled with lavender.
- Guided tour of the Foodhub: A look behind the scenes of Munich’s food world.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part!
The Erasmus+ project "Taste” brings together people with and without learning difficulties through shared cooking and cultural exchange. The aim is to promote inclusion, teach new skills and build bridges between different countries and cultures.
