Three new online industry guides available

agado has added the brewing, catering and hotel and dry cleaning sectors to the materials of the ‘Online sector guides - environmental tips for your business’ project. The materials are now available for download.

Since 2012, the project, which was launched as part of the Bavarian Environmental Pact and on behalf of the Bavarian State Office for the Environment (LfU), has already produced online guides for ten sectors and a cross-sector guide. Checklists, which companies can use for self-assessment and to identify possible courses of action more quickly, supplement the programme. The materials offer support in the pragmatic implementation of legal requirements or provide tips for the development of systematic operational environmental protection.

agado has supplemented the existing materials with guidelines and checklists for the brewing, hotel and catering and textile cleaning sectors. The brief and clearly organised information is intended to make it easier for small and medium-sized companies in particular to get started with corporate environmental protection. In a clear manner, the companies are presented with measures - some of which are easy to implement - that serve to protect the environment and often save costs at the same time.
